Arch. Luis B. Cancio
Principal Architect
In 1988, he founded L.B. Cancio Architects, Interior Designers & Builders Co. with his wife, Architect Ma. Guia R. Cancio, engaging in the design-build of prestigious projects.
His expertise is in Architecture and Interior Design, Project Analysis, as well as Construction and Project Management. Louie's main role is to analyze a project, gather information through constant communication with the client base, formulate ideas and innovation, and direct project planning and implementation to reach a project's objectives.
Arch. Imelda Borromeo Cancio
Founder
Imelda has long been respected in her field not only for her expertise in design construction and project management, but also for her outstanding qualities: impeccable integrity, tireless dedication to projects, selfless service to clients, and her courage and sacrifice to see projects through to the end.
In 1976, she was awarded by the University of Sto. Tomas "for her meritorious achievement as an Architect and significantly for being the first woman who started and finished architecture with top honors," making her the first lady Thomasian Architect. She also received the UST Alumni Association award for "exemplary achievement and recognition in the field of Architecture". Her most treasured award, among many others, was the 1998 Philippine Institute of Architects P. Benavides Award, symbolizing her long service to the Institute.
Arch. Ma. Guia R. Cancio
Senior Partner
Gigi is skilled in Architecture and Interior Design, and is focused mainly on Administrative and Financial Management. She collaborates with senior designers, ensuring that the design development and documentation are finalized, and that the design qualities established during the design phase are realized in accordance with the goals of the project.
